New man to head up Kennametal Europe

Dr Kemal Yegenoglu, president Europe and VP MSSG Europe, has been promoted to president and managing director Kennametal Europe, Middle East and Africa.
In this expanded role he will be responsible for both of Kennametal's business units Metalworking Solutions and Services Group, and Advanced Materials Solutions Group.
Dr Yegenoglu joined Kennametal in 2004, serving as president Europe and VP MSSG. Prior to joining Kennametal he served in various management positions for Tyrolit/Austria, Gühring Automation and Diamant Boart.
He holds a master’s degree in engineering and a Ph.D. from technical college RWTH in Aachen, Germany in manufacturing technologies.
