Sales revenues up for Körber Schleifring UK

Sales revenues during the first six months of this year of the Walter range of tool grinders and tool measuring machines available from Körber Schleifring UK of Honiley near Kenilworth are 30 per higher than that achieved for the last half of 2007.
With the order intake focused on the 5-axis CNC Walter Helitronic Power and Vision grinders, as well as the Helicheck series of measurement machines, the company’s sales director, Neil Whittingham, also points out that complementary automation features such as workpiece loaders are predominant options being requested by customers.
“Overall, a higher specification of machines is being supplied,” he adds, “since unmanned automatic production maximises machine uptime and therefore increases bottom-line benefits.”
