Company's new initiative is creditworthy

Online workholding and machining equipment supplier 1st Machine Tool Accessories is complementing its existing range of credit card, cheque and postal order payment options with the introduction of credit account facilities from 9 July.
Customers logging on to the company’s website www.1mta.com will be able to apply for an initial £500 or £1000 credit limit – subject to normal credit checks. Accounts will be based on 30 day settlement terms and can also be set up by calling the 1st MTA helpline: 0800 783 0510 or by faxing the company on: 0800 783 0517.
“We are launching the credit account service in response to customer feedback,” says 1st MTA’s sales director Patrick Murray. “It will streamline tracking and payment procedures, particularly for regular customers, and become increasingly beneficial as our portfolio of products continues to grow. We currently offer everything from barfeeder spares, collets, chuck jaws and workholding equipment, to countersink and deburring tools and lathes, air extraction systems, machine mounts, drill sharpener spares, chucks and centres – and plan to introduce several new lines during the next 12 months.”
To mark the launch of the company’s new credit account scheme, 1st MTA is also offering a 20 per cent discount on all collets and products from its OK-VISE range until the end of August.
